RTV Silicone Rubber Coating – Overview

Solvent-thinned (naphtha) RTV silicone rubber. Cures to a tough, rubbery transparent film.
Offers good all-around mechanical and electrical properties and is completely non-corrosive.
Film thickness: 0.4–0.5 mm per coat.

Recommended for laboratory and field installations that require a high degree of protection in thin coatings.
Provides good water-splash protection and chemical resistance.

Cure Requirements

• Solvents evaporate in approximately 60 minutes at room temperature.
• Allow 20 minutes drying time between coats.
• Cures in 24 hours at +24°C and 50% relative humidity (RH).
• Longer cure time required at lower humidity.
