Product info

FFT inclinometer solves attitude detection affected by strong vibration interference, outputting stable and accurate roll/pitch tilt angles. It performs in-time three-axis FFT vibration analysis (time & frequency domain), real-time data collection, etc. It improves platform leveling efficiency while motor/hydraulic devices are running and suits both static and dynamic measuring.

Most moving or rotating equipment (such as motors) produce acceleration/vibration. This vibration-induced noise disturbs true inclination measurement. Because random vibration directions are not necessarily perpendicular to the sensor’s sensitive axis, larger cross-axis error appears (with ~3% cross-axis sensitivity, errors can reach ~5° or more).

Market-typical MEMS capacitive sensors are highly sensitive to vibration and struggle to achieve high accuracy using only internal HW/SW filtering; electrolyte sensors cannot avoid low-frequency vibration noise either. Thus vibration influence must be addressed to obtain high-accuracy tilt in vibrating environments.

To ensure coincidence between inclination direction and vibration direction during measurement, Vigor adopts special assembly technology to realize very high axis alignment/orthogonality between tilt axes and X/Y/Z vibration axes, ensuring vibration data has the highest confidence.

FFT inclinometer combines vibration analysis with advanced time- and frequency-domain signal processing, real-time collection, alarms, and storage. Time-domain processing includes a programmable binary filter and selectable windowing. Frequency-domain processing includes a 512-point, real-valued FFT for each axis with FFT averaging. Modes include ordered FFT start, auto FFT, ordered time-domain capture, real-time mode, etc., with configurable vibration bandwidth and alarm points.
