The 3DM-GX5-AHRS is the industry’s most proven high-performance industrial Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS).
It features a fully calibrated and temperature-compensated triaxial accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer to achieve the optimum
combination of measurement qualities under all dynamic conditions.
The dual on-board processors run an exclusive Auto-Adaptive Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) for outstanding dynamic attitude estimates,
making it ideal for a wide range of applications including platform stabilization, robotics, and vehicle health and usage monitoring.
The MicroStrain 3DM-GX5 family of high-performance, industrial-grade inertial sensors provides a wide range of
triaxial inertial measurements, computed attitude, and navigation solutions. In all models, the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)
includes direct measurement of acceleration and angular rate, and is fully temperature-compensated and calibrated over the
operating temperature range.
The use of Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technology allows for highly accurate, small, and lightweight devices.
SensorConnect software is a user-friendly program for device configuration.
MIP Monitor (MicroStrain Inertial Protocol) can also be used for live monitoring and recording.
Alternatively, the MIP Data Communications Protocol is available for custom interfaces and OEM integration.
The sensor operates independently of computer platform, operating system, or coding language.
