Q.series XL is a modular DAQ platform designed for Localbus-based systems with interfaces for Ethernet, CAN, Modbus, PROFIBUS, and PROFINET. XL modules acquire electrical, mechanical, and thermal signals with high accuracy and can be freely combined to build scalable, mixed-signal, multi-channel systems for engine, component, and process testing.
Q.series XL is part of the Q.series X family of high-performance data acquisition systems. All Q.series X systems share the same measurement capabilities and performance; what distinguishes the XL variant is its specialization for Localbus fieldbus communication with support for Ethernet, CAN, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and modern publish/subscribe and messaging protocols such as OPC UA, DDS, MQTT, and custom controller plug-ins.
With dedicated modules for voltage, current, resistance, RTD, thermocouples, strain gages, IEPE/charge, frequency, PWM, and digital I/O, Q.series XL can measure virtually any electrical, mechanical, or thermal parameter in a test environment. Modules can be easily mixed and extended, and data streams with different sampling rates can be merged for efficient post-processing.
Q.series XL is available in several form factors: bloxx (DIN rail), brixx (portable/compact), and raxx (19″ rack). I/O cards and front plates are interchangeable between these housing types, allowing you to adapt the mechanical design without replacing electronics. Combined with Q.station controllers, Q.series XL forms a flexible and scalable DAQ system for demanding industrial and experimental testing applications.
