Q.station X – Next-Generation Intelligent DAQ Controller

The Q.station X is an advanced, intelligent controller engineered to deliver high-performance data acquisition for industrial and experimental applications. When combined with Q.series XL measurement modules, it forms a flexible, scalable DAQ system capable of handling electrical, mechanical, and thermal signals with exceptional precision. Designed for engine and component test benches as well as long-term monitoring environments, the Q.station X excels at highly synchronized, multi-frequency data acquisition.

Supporting up to 64 connectable I/O modules, the controller enables computer-independent logging with up to 20 independent data loggers, capable of sampling rates up to 100 kHz per channel (or 4 MHz when using Q.boost modules). Its four configurable internal data buffers allow efficient handling of mixed-signal measurement tasks—optimizing bandwidth usage by separating low-, mid-, and high-frequency signals.

Powered by a robust RT Linux operating system for 24/7 reliability, the Q.station X integrates seamlessly into industrial environments using a wide variety of communication protocols: CAN, Modbus TCP/RTU, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and modern publish/subscribe standards such as OPC UA, DDS, and MQTT. Time synchronization options include NTP, PTP, and IRIG, ensuring precise multi-device alignment.

The platform supports programmable real-time and non–real-time edge computing, data stream processing, arithmetic logic, custom controller plugins, and API integrations for third-party systems. Optional variants—such as Q.station X PN (with PROFINET), Q.station X SSD (1 TB internal storage), and Q.station X ETH (dual Ethernet networks)—ensure perfect fit for specialized applications.
